As the century progressed, the Georgian chandelier became more elaborate. This chandelier, typical of the period from 1760 - 75 includes snake or serpent arms, purely for ornamentation. This reproduction, first manufactured in 1996 for a privately owned castle in Scotland also includes swagged dressings of small crystals joined together with brass wires or pins.
